Under the ICT Zoning Regulations of 1992, Islamabad Capital Territory is divided into five zones. CDA explains that private housing and farm housing schemes were permitted in Zone 4 by the Federal Government in 2010. Gulberg Greens is recorded as a farm housing scheme in that zone, which is the main regulatory difference between it and Gulberg Residencia.
